I have been practicing meditation since 2003 and have attended multiple seven day silent retreats. I received teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction from the Center for Mindfulness, and Cognitively-Based Compassion Training (CBCT) at Emory University, teaching all ages in a variety of contexts. I currently teach Mindfulness-Based ADHD Treatment for Children.
Athletics
Since 2007, I have been competing in marathons and triathlons, ranging from the 5k to Ironman distances. From 2013 to 2019, I ran for the New York Athletic Club, placing as the 8th American male in the 2017 New York City Marathon. I was a scoring team member on multiple national championship teams, as well as the Boston Marathon team championship in 2015. Most recently, I completed the Chicago Marathon (2019) in 2:28. Additionally, I cross-country skied in high school, and rowed crew at Boston College, captaining the team my senior year.
